So where to begin?

This past weekend we (Bedford) played in the annual Fremantle Rebels softball tournament. You couldnt have asked for better weather, 2 days of mid 20’s, beautiful for playing 6-7 games of softball.

We went into the tourney with high hopes of being successful with bringing 2 players across from SA (Jimmy & Chops) who had played for us before.

And wow they didnt disappoint, James hit (i think) 6 Homeruns for the weekend & Chops Pitched a win in the final to go 3-0 in the tourney. The team ended up being 7-0 for the weekend. It was a great weekend.

Its really good as the most experienced player in our team to see the younger guys starting to believe they can be consistent ball players. Now this doesn’t happen overnight it takes years( I should know ) of playing the game to be confident in being who you are and what you can put out there on a regular basis. The game is like a mountain range, there are going to be peaks & valleys. What we’re aiming to do is have our peaks be longer and happen more consistently then our valleys.
